About the university

The University of San Diego (USD), a private Roman Catholic university in California, United States, originally opened its doors in 1949 and started as a college for women in 1952. Two years later, San Diego College for Men and the School of Law opened. In 1972, the previous colleges and others got emerged and formed into what is now the University of San Diego; however, it has been fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges since 1956. The students of USD are the future leaders who have been well-prepared to challenge the world, through their educational processes within nine various colleges and schools, 42 baccalaureate degrees, and several degrees in the master's

and doctorate programs. The beautiful 16th century architectural style, and beaches, mountains, downtown and the Mexican border of the universities’ campus is what makes it even more unique.
