West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) is a public university located in Canyon, Texas, United States. West Texas A&M University was established on 1910, and was originally known as West Texas State Normal College.
The university offers 58 undergraduate programs, 39 master’s programs and 1 doctoral program through its 5 colleges and graduate school. Therefore, WTAMU’s primary responsibility is to provide a student-centered learning community dedicated to educating tomorrow’s leaders, through innovative academic and co-curricular undergraduate and graduate programs, with primary emphasis placed on undergraduate education.
